Day Adventures
Groups are able to visit us and participate in the activities in the Forest or as most activities are mobile they may be easily brought to your site. Each activity is run independently enabling single use or any number of activities being provided for your adventure.
Progressive Programmes
At Forestry Adventure we believe that the social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL) can be delivered through our programmes and encompass a whole school approach. To achieve this we promote progressive programmes that will encourage good solid links with your staff team and students.
Residential & Expeditions
Attending our UK based expeditions helps to breakdown barriers whilst promoting personal development, teaching basic navigation, planning and management skills. These activities promote team bonding and life skills. These are held all over the UK.
Leadership Awards
Working closely with Connexions Berkshire and Merton Alternative Education Department we have developed various leadership programmes that can incorporate the Duke of Edinburgh Award, ASDAN and the Youth Achievement Award. Our leadership programmes are tailored to suit the requirements of your group and build firm foundations for students to develop leadership skills for either school life or life beyond school.
Teacher Training
As with all of our programmes the provision to teachers is also bespoke. We have developed a number of training events which include events held at the school to expeditions in the Lake District to show how these trips are used for their students.
Duke of Edinburgh
At Forestry Adventure we offer, as an Access Organisation, the Service and Physical aspects of the award. Having been assessed and accepted by Hampshire outdoor unit and DofE departments we provide expedition training and practise to work alongside your teams.
